It’s Open Enrollment time! Annual benefits Open Enrollment will run from November 3rd through November 17th. Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to update your health plans, add or remove dependents, and change your annual H.S.A. and flexible spending account enrollments.
Take the time to evaluate your options and get the most out of your Total Rewards as an employee working at CEI. To view your current benefit elections and enroll for 2022 benefits, simply access www.workterra.net. All changes will become effective January 1, 2022.
What Happens if I Do Nothing?
If you don’t actively enroll in benefits during Open Enrollment, your current selections will roll over for the upcoming year at the new rates, unless you have:
- Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HC FSA)
- Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DC FSA)

2022 Post Enrollment
- United Healthcare (UHC) new POS plan will replace the current UHC EPO plan. There will be no changes to the in-network coverage. The UHC POS plan will now include out-of-network coverage with 50% co-insurance, $1,500 individual/$3,000 family deductible, and $10,500 individual/$21,000 family out-of-pocket max.
- VSP Vision plan will be enhancing the allowance to $200 for frames, $130 for lenses and adding the LightCare benefit.
- Guardian Dental DHMO plan will no longer be available. Dental PPO is still available.
- NEW! Fitness Incentive Benefit
- 2022 IRS Health Savings Account (HSA) maximums have increased.
- All remaining company-paid benefit offerings are remaining the same.

2022 POWER UP YOUR HEALTH
CEI is once again offering the opportunity for employees to voluntarily participate in our “Power Up Your Health” Wellness Program, in an effort to encourage healthy living among employees.
Qualifying for Discounted Medical Premiums
This year, employees need only to have met with a health care provider at any time during the 2021 calendar year and provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccine. After completing both tasks, employees will be asked to complete a self-attestation form found HERE to receive a discounted Medical premium for the 2022 plan year.
Who is Eligible?
All regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in the medical discount program. Employees must be actively enrolled in a CEI medical plan in order to receive the discounted Medical premium.
Verifying Your Vaccination Status
If your COVID-19 vaccination status has not yet been verified by CEI, email benefits@cei.com to request an appointment. If your vaccination status has already been verified, you can skip this step. To check if your vaccine status is on file, please email benefits@cei.com.
Completing the Self-Attestation Form
The deadline to complete the self-attestation form is 11/30/2021. Forms submitted for the wellness program from 12/1/2021 – 12/31/2021 will be considered for the medical discount. If you submit your form during this period your medical discount will be delayed, due to year-end processing timelines.
