Western Digital believes that people are at the center of what we do and who we are. To fulfill our purpose to be an iconic data storage company, it takes every individual’s unique talents. Your feedback has been at the forefront as we continue to evolve our benefits. This year, we continue our multi-year journey to modernize and improve our benefits portfolio by offering more choice to meet the unique needs of our diverse employees and creating more value with benefits that are employee and family friendly.
Benefits will be effective January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025
What Do I Need to Do?
-
Review the 2025 Open Enrollment Decision Guide to learn about your benefit options. Make any changes needed for 2025. If you do nothing, your current benefits will roll into the 2025 plan year. However, you must re-enroll to continue your FSA, DCFSA (Dependent Care FSA), or HSA coverage, as these benefits will not roll over.
-
Attend a live Open Enrollment session (Open Enrollment Schedule Of Events below) and get your questions answered.
- Decide which benefits are the right fit for you using the Merative Employee Benefits Modeling Tool (See below under 2025 Open Enrollment Resources)
- Enroll via Workday. Look for an Open Enrollment Workday Task in your Workday Inbox that will be available from October 11, 2024 through October 22, 2024.
You have until Tuesday, October 22, 2024 to enroll or make changes to your benefits. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to update or change your benefit elections for the 2025 plan year from January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025. The only other time you can make a mid-year change is if you experience a qualifying status change such as marriage, birth, adoption, or loss/gain of coverage.
What Happens If I Don't Take Any Action?
If no action is taken by 10:59pm PST on October 22, 2024, your current benefit elections will roll over into the 2025 plan year.
You must re-enroll for FSA, DCFSA (Dependent Care FSA), and HSA coverage during the Open Enrollment to continue to contribute to the January 1 – December 31, 2025 plan year.

To decide which plan would be most beneficial to you for the 2025 plan year, the review should include comparing deductibles, out of pocket maximums as well as the per pay period contributions.
