To make the most of your Swinerton benefits, you’ll need to make informed choices using the information in this guide. You’ll use our online enrollment tool inside Workday to make your benefits selection. You can access Workday online at any time during your enrollment period.

ONLINE LOGIN INSTRUCTION

  1. Log on to Workday
  2. From your Inbox, your election event will be waiting. You can also access the event from the Awaiting Your Action section of the home page
  3. In the left column of your box, there will be a grey block entitled “benefit change” that will correlate with your applicable new hire, mid-year change, or Open Enrollment event. Click on it to display the title and select the orange “Let’s Get Started” button.
  4. Our dashboard layout shows you all the options available to you in one place. Review each tile to select your chosen coverage level, add/remove dependents, or waive enrollment.
  5. Review and Submit – you’re almost done! When you’ve completed your enrollment and clicked the “Save” button, you’ll be returned to the dashboard screen. Click the orange “Review and Sign” button at the bottom of the screen. If everything looks good, click the orange “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen to complete enrollment. Please note your submission is not complete until you receive a confirmation message displayed on your screen as “You’ve submitted your elections”. Be sure to print your benefits confirmation as you will not be able to see your benefits until the event is approved.

Open Enrollment

Log into Workday and navigate to the "Benefits and Pay" section of Workday to locate your previously submitted Open Enrollment event. You will have until the end of Open Enrollment to finalize your elections, please remember to click "Submit" for any changes made.

New Hires and Mid-Year Changes

IF YOU DON’T ENROLL

If you do not enroll in benefits as a new hire, your coverage will default to “Waive” and you will have no coverage for the plan year. You will not be able to make changes until the next Open Enrollment period or until you experience a qualifying life event or HIPAA special enrollment event.
