UNUM Disability Income Protection

If you become sick or injured and cannot work, disability insurance helps to protect your income while you recover. All employees are automatically enrolled in Long Term Disability which is paid for in full by Concord Feed through UNUM.

Long Term Disability (LTD)

LTD provides income replacement if you are unable to work for a period longer than 90 days due to injury or illness. This is an extremely important benefit, in that it will provide disability income to your Social Security Normal Retirement Age in the case of a total permanent disability.

LTD benefits can replace up to 60% of your salary to a maximum benefit of $5,000 per month.
