November 3, 2025 – November 14, 2025
Mercury Insurance regularly reviews benefits, programs, and perks for team members so that no matter where you are in your life and career, you will find a value in the available benefits options. This year's Open Enrollment will be PASSIVE, meaning that if you don't want to make any changes, all your benefits will carry over with exception to HSA and FSA. Those accounts require re-enrollment every year!

What Do You Need to Know?
- Mercury Insurance's Open Enrollment is PASSIVE this year. This means, if you do not take any action during Open Enrollment, all your current benefit elections will roll over into the new 2026 Plan Year with the exception of Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) contributions. You must actively re-enroll in HSA and/or FSA , if you wish to continue participating for 2026.
- Beginning November 3rd until November 14th, 2025, please login to UKG if you wish to enroll in HSA and/or FSA, make changes to your health benefits, and add or drop eligible dependents from coverage. All changes will become effective January 1st, 2026.
- For a high-level description of benefit changes in 2026, please review the "What's Changing in 2026" section below.
- Review your personal information in UKG to confirm all information is updated. Please make any necessary changes.

What Do You Need to Do?

- Blue Shield Mandated Change – High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) deductible increases.
- Saver HDHP: Deductible increase from $1,650 to $1,700 (individual) and from $3,300 to $3,400 (family)
- Super Saver HDHP: Individual deductible increase from $3,300 to $3,400.
- Health Savings Account – Contributions limits have increased to $4,400 for individual coverage and $8,750 for family coverage. Individuals who are 55 or older can contribute an additional $1,000 as a catch-up contribution.
- Behavioral Health Plan Changes
- Moving from Magellan network to BlueShield network for HMO and PPO.
- Blue Shield Network Change for Acupuncture/Chiropractic Services
- Those enrolled on a Blue Shield PPO plan and receiving care for Acupuncture/Chiropractic, Blue Shield is changing their network from American Specialties Health to Blue Shield's direct network. Anyone enrolled in the Blue Shield HMO network will remain within American Specialties Health network.
