Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment will be held once a year in November for the calendar plan year of January 1st through December 31st. You cannot make changes to benefit elections outside of Open Enrollment unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event as described below.
New Hires
New hires will have 30 days from date of hire to elect benefits. Benefits will be effective date-of-hire.

Qualifying Events
Changes to your benefit choices can only be made during the year if you experience a qualifying life event (listed below). If you experience this type of event, please inform the People team within thirty (30) days of the event to allow for updates in Workday. Examples of life or family status change events include:
- Marriage, divorce, or legal separation
- Birth or adoption of a child
- Death of a spouse or child
- Employment-related changes including Leave of Absence
- Moving, and as a result, no longer living in an area in which your elected plan is available
- A loss or gain of coverage due to your spouse’s change in employment or your spouse’s Open Enrollment
- Loss of coverage on parent’s plan due to reaching the maximum age (typically age 26)
- You, your spouse, or your dependent child become entitled to Medicare or Medicaid

- Cigna Medical:
- Please create your Cigna Member Portal by going to my.cigna.com. Once registered you can view your electronic ID card via the website or the MyCigna App, or request physical ID cards to be mailed to your home address by calling: 1-800-Cigna-24. Please note, electronic ID cards will be available 48 hours after your enrollment is processed.
- Cigna Dental/Vision:
- Cigna does not issue physical ID cards for Dental and Vision, simply provide your policy number to your provider, or your personal tax ID number
"How do I find my policy/group number?"
