Wellness Incentives
HBC encourages you to make healthy living a priority by improving and maintaining good health. To promote making a positive impact on your health and wellbeing HBC offers a Wellness Incentive that gives you the opportunity to earn incentive dollars in your HSA or FSA for 2023.
Wellness incentive contributions, made by HBC, will be made to your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) if you are enrolled in the Cigna PPO medical plan or into your Healthcare Savings Account (HSA) if you are enrolled in either the Choice Plus CDHP or Choice CDHP medical plans.
To be eligible for the full wellness incentive, you must complete:
Your personal physician visit is for a full annual physical exam with your regular personal physician. An annual well woman visit with an OB/GYN will count toward meeting the requirement.
Quick visits to a “minute clinic” or similar facility will not count toward meeting the requirement.
The online Health Assessment is a brief, confidential questionnaire that evaluates your current health and indicates if you are at risk for certain conditions. It also provides recommendations you may take toward better health.
To count towards the 2024 Wellness Incentive, you must complete the Health Risk Assessment between January 1, 2024 and November 30, 2024.
Cigna Medical - Follow these steps to complete your Health Risk Assessment:
- Register and/or log onto your myCigna account at www.myCigna.com.
- In the top left corner, click on the My Health tab.
- Click on "Take My Health Assessment"
- Complete the Health Assessment and view your results.
Geisinger Medical - Follow these steps to complete your Health Risk Assessment:
- Register and/or log onto your Geisinger account at wellness.geisinger.org.
- Click the MyWellness Online tab
- Click on "Get My Score”
- Complete the Health Assessment and view your results.
Cigna and Geisinger will automatically report your completion of the Health Risk Assessment to HBC for purposes of the Wellness Incentive.
Please note: Your personal information will never be shared with HBC.
At your doctor visit, a thorough health history will be obtained, biometrics will be tested, and age- and gender-appropriate tests and screenings will be recommended. And your medical information is completely private; HBC never sees personal health information on any Associate or dependent.
An annual physical exam obtained between July 1, 2023 and November 30, 2024 with your personal physician will be counted.
