CVS Pharmacy will be our new prescription drug provider. You will receive a new ID card as part of this change. Be prepared to update your insurance information with your preferred pharmacy.

Effective 1/1/2025, Cigna will no longer mail home physical ID cards; however, you can request a physical ID card. Use this FAQ to learn how to request a physical card or access a digital version of your card.

There are no other changes to your out-of-pocket deductible, or coinsurance for medical, dental and vision coverage.

Prescription drug coverage is moving to CVS Pharmacy.
Please note: CVS will mail physical ID cards, which should be used every time you fill a prescription, and is separate from your digital ID medical card through Cigna.
A few things to keep in mind:

Prior prescription authorizations should automatically transfer from Cigna to CVS.
- Consider refilling your prescription in advance of 1/1/2025, to have your prescription available to you, until you receive your Pharmacy ID card.
- If there are anticipated disruptions to authorizations or currently covered medications, you will receive a communication directly from CVS with more information.
Accident Insurance: No one can protect you from unexpected accidents or injuries, but Cigna Accidental Injury insurance offers coverage that can help you bounce back.
- What It Is: A cash benefit paid directly to you when you face an unexpected, covered accident, such as an ankle sprain or arm fracture.

- Cigna pays a lump sum benefit directly to you
Critical Illness Insurance: Being diagnosed with a Critical Illness is hard enough, but you should not have to worry about how it impacts your finances as well. That’s why having Cigna Critical Illness insurance is so important.
