Welcome to Open Enrollment 2020-2021

Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to make changes to your health care benefits. During this period, you will have the opportunity to examine the 2020-21 benefit plan offerings and determine if you wish to make any changes. You MUST re-enroll in the FSA plans (Health Care and/or Dependent Care) if you want coverage for the 2020-2021 plan year. 

What’s Changing for 2020-21?

  • No plan/carrier/benefit changes
  • No change to Employee Contributions!
  • Moving to 1/1 renewal basis so as to better align with plan deductibles/out of pocket maximums. Elections/changes will be effective from 9/1/2020 – 12/31/2021.
Enrollment begins August 14th and ends August 28th!
All changes you make will be effective September 1, 2020 - December 31, 2021
Please review 1st paycheck in September 2020 to ensure deductions are correct.

FSA Transition (must re-enroll every year at Open Enrollment)

This year will be a transition year since moving to a 1/1 – 12/31 plan year (versus 9/1 – 8/31)

Current Participants (enrolled for 9/1/19 - 8/31/2020 plan year)

$500 carryover still in place

Last day to submit claims = 11/20/2020

Short Plan Year

Enroll for 9/1/2020 – 12/31/2020

Elect based on prorated amounts

Health Care FSA = $916.67

Dependent Care FSA = $1,666.67

$500 carryover still in place

Last day to submit claims = 3/1/2021

 

New Regular Plan Year

Enroll for 1/1/2021 – 12/31/2021

$500 carryover still in place

Last day to submit claims = 3/31/2022
