2021 Benefits

At ClassPass, one of our highest priorities is addressing the health and welfare needs of our employees and their family members. To help you protect yourself and your family physically and financially, we are pleased to offer the 2021-2022 Benefits Program. Many of these benefits are paid for in whole or in part by ClassPass. Other benefits are offered as voluntary options to be paid by you through the convenience of pre-tax payroll deductions. This landing page provides the summaries of each of the benefits offered to assist you understanding your benefits and to help in making the best decision about your benefits, by reviewing your costs for various treatments and services, making annual enrollment elections, enrolling for the first time or changing your benefits due to a qualifying life event.

Enrollment

New Hires

New hires can enroll at any time within thirty-one (31) days of their hire date. Benefits become effective immediately upon date of hire. Outside of enrollment as a new hire, employees have an annual opportunity to make plan changes during Open Enrollment for the upcoming Benefit Program Plan Year that begins on April 1st. ClassPass utilizes Workday as our online Benefit Enrollment Portal.

Qualifying Events

You may not change your benefit choices during the year unless you have a qualified family status, or life, change. At that point, please email HR@classpass.com within thirty (30) days of the applicable family status change. Examples of a Life or Family Status Change are:

  • Marriage, divorce or legal separation
  • Birth or adoption of a child
  • Loss of coverage on parent’s plan due to reaching maximum age
  • Death of a spouse or child
  • You, or your spouse or your dependent child, become entitled to Medicare or Medicaid
  • Start or end of an unpaid leave of absence
  • Moving, and as a result, no longer living in an area in which your elected plan is available
  • A change in you or your spouse’s employment status that results in a loss (or gain) of coverage
  • A significant change in contributions under your spouse’s employer’s plan (with “significant” generally meaning the employer has stopped making contributions
