Voluntary Hospital Indemnity, Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Plans 

Aspen HR offers three additional voluntary benefits for employees through MetLife:  Hospital Indemnity, Accident, and Critical Illness. All these plans are paid 100% by employees.

Voluntary Hospital Indemnity:
Life can be unexpected, and this policy is designed to pay for the costs of a hospital admission or ICU for a covered sickness or injury. It provides a lump sum cash payment in addition to any other payments you may receive from your medical plan. Review the plan summary for full details and costs.

Voluntary Accident:
Despite having medical and disability insurance, many people are simply not prepared to pay the expenses that come with their injuries. Voluntary Accident rounds out medical and disability insurance to help you pay for unexpected costs. The benefit pays you cash directly should you ever become injured in an accident (cash amount varies). Review the plan summary for full details and costs.

Voluntary Critical Illness:

Critical Illness Insurance complements the medical and disability income coverage. It can ease the potential financial impact of certain critical illnesses by helping to pay for some of the expenses that are not covered, such as medical co-pays, transportation to treatment centers, childcare, and more. Critical Illness Insurance does not replace current medical insurance; rather, it provides a lump-sum payment if the member experiences certain covered conditions.
